Directors, Danny and Michael Phillippou “Talk to Me” | Interview

"Talk to Me" is a spine-chilling Australian horror movie directed by Danny and Michael Philippou in their first-ever foray into feature film direction. Our very own, Shaunael Milton, had the pleasure of speaking with them about the film. In this interview, we dove into their different approaches to the movie. Specifically, the possession scenes were something to take note of in relation to how they were performed and the sound effects used.

We also explore the psychological side of this supernatural thriller and the chance of a second movie. This horrifying film is a must-see; you’ll be on your toes. As an avid horror watcher, this film had a great mix of thriller, psychological, paranormal, and drama. I would put this movie at a strong seven out of ten.

Synopsis: When a group of friends discovers how to conjure spirits by using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill -- until one of them unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.
